Our Classes
Agility (Advanced -1) - Handling Sequences & Techniques (PW) (Non-Members)
with Pat Wright
This class includes abbreviated Excellent/Master level Standard and Jumpers with Weaves courses with emphasis on the performance requirements of each obstacle and the handling necessary to move between them.
Note: Students are expected to help setup and break down equipment at the beginning and end of each class.
Prerequisites: Dogs/handlers must have successfully completed MDTC’S Improving Handler & Dog Skills (Intermediate) or be evaluated by instructor/training director before signing up for class.
AKC Competitive Obedience - Problem Solving Class (MG) (Members Only)
with Meredith Garrett
This class is designed for obedience competitors who wish to ultimately show at the higher levels of this sport.
Prerequisites: Handlers must have titled any dog at the CD level. Dogs entered in this class must have a CD title, OR be evaluated by the instructor/training director before signing up for the class. Dogs must have a solid recall.
Note: Students are expected to help set up and break down class equipment.

Additional Sessions Afterwards -- Individual Instruction Pricing (member or non-member): 30mins for $32, 45min for $47, or 60 mins for $62: Contact Training Director or Registrar to schedule.
Individual Instruction - 30 Minutes

This is a pre-arranged individual 30 minute training session for one dog working Agility during this session. For this initial session, the 1st 30min consultation is included in the price.

This is a non-instructional class with a Run-thru format. Dog and handler teams must be trialing at the Open level or above. All course provided will be at the Excellent level. Brief feedback will be provided upon request.

Barn Hunt - Proofing & Problem Solving for Open Level & Above (CT) (Members Only)
with Christina Tyndall
Not for beginning dogs. This class focuses on building hunt drive (games and rewards) and accuracy (using complex problems and hide clusters) with a mix of rats and litter tubes.
Note: Male dogs are recommended to wear a "belly band" since urinating in the search area is strictly prohibited.
Prerequisites: Multiple qualifying legs in Novice BH and teams must be preparing to move to Open.
