AKC Comp Obed (Member Only) - Open & Above Individual Session

THIS IS A RESTRICTED REGISTRTATION: This is a reservation for a pre-approved individual training session appointments with a MDTC instructor for members. Contact the Instructor or the Training Director prior to purchasing, Deanna Bullock, 757-778-7608 for approvals or questions.
Prerequisites: Dogs must be currently trialing in AKC Open or above level and approved by the requested instructor.
AKC Comp Obed (Non-Member Only) - Open & Above Individual Session

Prerequisites: Dogs must be currently trialing in AKC Open or above level and approved by the requested instructor.
AKC Competitive Obedience - Beginner Novice/Novice Obedience Instructional Run Thru (BB) (Members Only)

Skills needed for this class are a basic knowledge of Beginning and Novice Obedience. This is an instructional run thru class. This class is for those wishing to enter Beginner Novice or Novice Trials. Rules, regulations, and ring procedures are covered. Each dog will run thru all the skills for their level every week to prepare for the trials. You will need a six foot leash and a crate for your dog.
Prerequisites: Dogs should have taken the Basic and Advanced Basic Classes before this class.
Note: No 2nd dogs/same handler will be accepted for this class.

AKC Rally - Getting Ready for AKC Rally Competition - Adv/Int/Exc (SP) (Members Only)

Practice Advanced/Intermediate/Excellent courses Performances will be critiqued to aid in practice. Directed practice with individual signs available. Note: Students expected to help in course setup and take down.
Prerequisites: Handler and dog must be familiar with Advanced (this includes Intermediate) exercises AND have earned at least a Rally Novice title. Exceptions only with permission of Instructor.
AKC Rally - Getting Ready for AKC Rally Competition - Adv/Int/Exc (SP) (Non-Members)

This run-thru class is designed to help you practice and proof your dog in scentwork. It will alternate every other week between container and buried elements. Don't forget to bring your treats!
Prerequisites: Dogs must be crated between runs and be familiar with Birch, Anise, Clove and (for Master) Cypress
Note: There will be no class 9/14 to accommodate the Membership Meeting.
