This class is for dogs on odor that have not yet trialed or have only trialed at the Novice level. (Please - no dogs trialing at Advanced or above.) We'll work on building your dog's experience in solving search problems based on foundation skills of independent search, confidence in a variety of environments and understanding of the game. Specific class topics will be determined by the instructor.

This class will provide nontraditional hunting opportunities for your dog while searching everyday items. We'll expand our dogs' experience with stimulating searches and fun sniffing games. Your dog will be a more versatile hunter as he builds on foundation to solve interesting scent problems. Odors will be paired and include birch, anise, clove, and cypress. If you are unsure if you and your dog are ready for this class, please contact the instructor prior to enrollment.

This class is a continuation of Scentwork Foundations 1&2. The emphasis will be on increasing your dog's drive for hunting, providing experiences which will build skills. In addition, the handler will continue to provide consistent start line procedures allowing their dog to hunt. Odor will be introduced and paired at all times.

Prerequisites: Dogs must have completed Scentwork Foundtions 1 & 2. Dogs must not be on odor or competing when they begin this class. The handler must have handled the dog through Scentwork Foundations 1 & 2.  

This class is a continuation of Scentwork Foundations 1&2. The emphasis will be on increasing your dog's drive for hunting, providing experiences which will build skills. In addition, the handler will continue to provide consistent start line procedures allowing their dog to hunt. Odor will be introduced and paired at all times.

Prerequisites: Dogs must have completed Scentwork Foundtions 1 & 2. Dogs must not be on odor or competing when they begin this class. The handler must have handled the dog through Scentwork Foundations 1 & 2.  

Not for beginning dogs. Dogs must be on odor and preparing to trial (or trialing) at the Novice or Advanced level. NOT for dogs trialing above these levels, please. 

Focus on handling, problem-solving and refining search skills. We’ll further develop odor obedience and foundation skills while broadening our dogs’ experience. Subject matter changes with session and will introduce more advanced skills, at the instructor's discretion. Weather permitting we may be working outdoors.
