AKC Comp Obed (Member Only) - Open & Above Individual Session

AKC Rally - Getting Ready for AKC Rally Competition - Adv/Int/Exc (SP) (Members Only)

Practice Advanced/Intermediate/Excellent courses Performances will be critiqued to aid in practice. Directed practice with individual signs available. Note: Students expected to help in course setup and take down.
Prerequisites: Handler and dog must be familiar with Advanced (this includes Intermediate) exercises AND have earned at least a Rally Novice title. Exceptions only with permission of Instructor.
Scent Work - Skill Building for Novice Teams (BA) (Members Only)

This class is for dogs that have been introduced to scentwork and are on odor. Dogs may be trialing at Novice level or getting ready to trial. We'll work on building your dog's experience in solving search problems, focus and fun. This class is not appropriate for dogs taking classes or trialing at higher levels.
Prerequisites: Scent Work - Introduction to Odor and Scent Work - Skill Building for Novice Teams, or by permission of the instructor. Please contact the instructor before you sign up to confirm that your dog is eligible for this class, or for additional details.
Note: Dogs must crate between runs.
Scent Work - Skill Building for Advanced/Excellent Teams (BA) (Members Only)

This class is not for dogs new to scent work. Dogs should be searching or trialing at Advanced or Excellent level. We'll work on building your dog's experience in solving search problems, focus and fun. We'll continue to increase your dog's scent work vocabulary through exposure and experience, and give you handling practice at the same time.
Prerequisites: Dogs must be on odor and working at the Advanced or Excellent level, or by permission of the instructor. Please contact the instructor before you sign up to confirm that your dog is eligible for this class, or for additional details.

AKC Competitive Obedience - Beginner Open (MAM) (Members Only)

This is an instructional class for anyone that has not started teaching the dumbbell and will cover learning the rules and regulations to compete. This is not for anyone already competing in Open Obedience.
Prerequisites: You will have to have at least one leg toward a CD or a BN title. All dogs will be working off lead in the same ring with the rest of the class, so dogs must be able to work around other dogs.
Note: No 2nd dogs/same handler will be accepted for this class. We understand many of you may be traveling from quite a distance with multiple dogs training that day. You're welcome to bring them into the building with you; however, you are only permitted to work the one registered for the class. Scent Work - Novice/Advanced (JC) (Members Only)

This run-through class is for Novice and Advanced level teams. Searches will include interiors, exteriors, vehicles, buried and containers.
Prerequisites: Dogs must be on birch and anise.

Conformation Handling (KP) (Members Only)

"Conformation" is the showing/handling of dogs in a dog show ring. This class provides instruction on how to handle and properly "gait", "stack", "free-stack" and "present the dog's bite" in a dog show event.
This instructional class is open to all levels of experience of handlers (newbies to advanced), skilled handlers with new show pups, or seasoned show dogs. In order to keep the rings clean and safe, the grooming of dogs is not permitted in this class or the building. Junior handlers are always welcome.
